Why do hotels set temperature limits on their Verdant thermostats?

Hotels often set limits on thermostats for a few reasons:

Energy Conservation: One of the primary reasons hotels set limits on thermostats is to conserve energy and reduce their energy costs.

When guests leave their room, they may leave the air conditioning or heating on at a high level, which can result in wasted energy and higher costs.

By limiting the range of temperatures that guests can set their thermostats to, hotels can prevent excessive energy usage and save money on their utility bills.

HVAC Maintenance: Another reason hotels set limits on thermostats is to prevent damage or excessive wear and tear to their HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems.

When guests set their thermostats to very high or low temperatures, it can put a strain on the HVAC system, causing it to work harder and potentially leading to equipment failure or breakdown.

Guest Comfort:Finally, hotels may set limits on thermostats to ensure that all guests are comfortable during their stay.

If some guests set their thermostats to extreme temperatures, it can affect the temperature in nearby rooms, making it uncomfortable for other guests.

By setting temperature limits, hotels can ensure that the temperature in all rooms remains within a comfortable range for all guests.
