Value
Carrier Global (ICP)
Mid-range residential HVAC, owned by Carrier Global and sold through an independent wholesale channel.

Ducane is a brand owned by Carrier Global. Unlike Carrier and Bryant (Carrier’s primary consumer and contractor brands), Ducane is distributed through a separate wholesale channel — primarily for contractors who aren’t part of the Carrier or Bryant dealer network.

If you have a Ducane system, Carrier-trained contractors can service it and source parts through the Carrier/ICP supply chain.

What Ducane makes

Ducane offers standard residential furnaces, central ACs, and heat pumps. The line covers 80% and 96% AFUE gas furnaces, single-stage and two-stage ACs, and standard heat pumps. Ducane does not have a variable-capacity or communicating premium tier — the brand is positioned as solid mid-range residential equipment.

Is Ducane a good brand?

Ducane is Carrier Global manufacturing in a wholesale channel. Reliable mid-range equipment with broad parts availability via Carrier’s distribution network.

Parts availability: Carrier distributors can source Ducane parts. Ducane is less commonly stocked than Carrier COMFORT or ICP brands at local HVAC supply houses, but the parts exist in the Carrier network.

Warranty: comparable to other mid-range brands (10-year parts with registration, 20-year heat exchanger limited).
